New for-all-ages comic ‘Fish and Water (JPN)’, now serializing.


I started serialization of new comic for-all-ages ‘Fish and Water’, what the first episode was published as one shot on last May. Now, the second episode is available on Web Action, free to read.

It’s a slice-of-life story of two close dudes under the COVID pandemic. I’d like to continue the story until enough pages to publish one book.

House of Brutes (french translated edition) was awarded Sade Prize in France


My manga ‘House of Brutes’ french translated edition was awarded Prix Sade (Sade Prize) 2022 BD/Manga in France. Thank you, I’m honored, and happy to be able to get the first award for my adult oriented works!

Here are some photos from the award presentation ceremony, my editor of the french publisher Dynamite sent me.

‘House of Brutes’ was originally serialized on Badi magazine from 1999 to 2007, bi-monthly. The Japanese editions were published from Terra Publishing, the publisher of Badi magazine, from 2007 to 2008, in 3 volumes. These were very small publishing, so now out-of-prints all. Spanish translated edition (La Casa de los Herejes) were published from Cúpula from 2010 to 2011, and are still available. French translated edition’s volume 1 & 2 had been already published in 2021 and 2022, and volume 3 is coming soon. My french editor said they’ll make Sade Prize Awarded sticker and put it on the book. I wish that it will effect good for the sales of the book!
